IACIL: Home Page

Independence Associates, Inc. (IA) was established in 1980 as a Center for Independent Living. IA works with people with disabilities so that they can live as independently as they wish to within the community. Living independently allows individuals dignity and freedom. IA will work with anyone with a disability who lives in our 31 town service area.

Personal Care Management

IA is a Personal Care Management Agency (PCM) for the MassHealth Personal Care Attendant Program. PCMs provide eligibility evaluations for consumers who are beginning or continuing to employ a PCA.

Community Events

In addition to other community events, IA is an active particpant in Brockton's annual Holiday Parade (Saturday after Thanksgiving). On the parade route, the decorated storefront and photos with Santa add to the festivities. Visit our Events and Calendar Page for more information.
